Function and beauty combined. Come by and see these lovely pottery and ceramics taking various forms, made by Bechard Studios, Abby Berkson Ceramics, Bit of Thunder Ceramics, and Goblin Hands for yourselves on November 25th from 12:00 to 5:00 at the WaterFire Arts Center, located at 475 Valley Street, Providence.⁠

Donate-what-you-can admission and free parking.⁠

Bechard Studios (@bechardstudios) creates handmade, mostly functional ceramic art, hand blown glass, and even handmade chainmaille jewelry.⁠

Abby Berkson Ceramics (@abbyberkson) has been producing small batch, colorful handmade ceramics since 2010. With all their work made on the potter's wheel from a sturdy white stoneware clay, each piece is decorated by hand with a variety of piece. The main design inspiration comes from nature, illustrations, and textile patterns. They sell an array of beautiful ceramics ranging from cups and bowls to small figurines and jewelry.⁠

Bit of Thunder Ceramics (@bitofthunderceramics) was started with the intention of making functional ceramics full of whimsy and delight. Fatimah (the maker behind the scenes) draws inspiration from every part of her life and aims to make pieces that make you stop and go, "Oh my GOD, look at that!" She's a firm believer that the mug you drink your coffee out of matters.⁠

Goblin Hands (@goblinhands) creates unique ceramic pieces that are thrown, thrown and altered, or handbuilt. Many are alternatively fired to create unique and dramatic surface design. Their works range from artisanal vases, to monster vases, sculptural animals, functional ware like pottery mugs, ash trays, and some jewelry. They also have a small selection of watercolor prints and oil paintings.⁠
